MXV started out as a simple compilation for those who missed the ‘Time Limited’ bonus tracks originally included with Intervision 1015 but it has evolved and now includes a bunch of new stuff and even some of those aforementioned tracks have been remastered.
Taking center stage of the new material is the Dead Already Mix of the soon to be undead Stay Hidden from Adaption. A remix that includes the vocal talents of the AI High Priestess – Coin-op of Death! which should segue nicely into the new album Death by Coin-op out later this year. [Read more…]

MIke G has created a sublime DJ MIx drawing on nearly four decades of downtempo tunes. The mix entitled Spaced Volume 1 can be streamed or downloaded over at Mixcrate and includes music from Tangerine Dream, Bruno Sanfilippo, Boy Is Fiction, Humate, Michael Stearns, Jonn Serrie, Odessi, Mystical Sun and yes there is even a Woob track in there somewhere.
After a break from working on Woob stuff after last years Laboratory experiments. Work now continues on the Paradigm Flux album, it’s still too early to give an ETA but April would be nice! it’s still too early to give an ETA.
In other Woob news. Paradigm Flux [EP] featured on electronic music station Solenopole which broadcasts it show online and on a variety of French FM radio stations. You can find the show – Mission 147 here
Both Woob albums are now available on Amazon for those adverse to paypal. Also Repurpose is now available on iTunes though there is a problem as it is coming up under a different artist – woob rather than Woob. Which means its grouped separately from my other iTunes releases. Emails to Cupertino don’t seem to have helped so far… FIXED !
Finally spiritual ambient musician Enuui has written a great track inspired by last years “Repurpose” album, not sure about the title though… :-) check out “The Ninth Season” below.

All the pieces are finally in place and the CD’s can now begin shipping. A dozen First editions should start their voyage today with the rest leaving on Monday. 2nd editions will also start shipping Monday and I should be up to date with all existing orders by the end of the week.
The finished product is very organic with each one different from the next and not just because of the nature of the hand printing but also the recycled cases themselves are all different and under light glisten (in places) with specks of silver. It was an interesting experiment to hand print the covers but not sure I will be repeating the process as it took me around 50 wasted cases to complete 25 first editions without missing R’s,W’s or excessive wonkyness:) So for those who ordered, enjoy the CD when it arrive’s and here’s to (if there ever is one) a fully manufactured third edition!

As you can see they look great. The poster is A3 double-sided with the cover on one side (shown) and a variation on the second page of the digi-booklet on the other. Though these are primarily for the lucky few who secured a copy of the 1st Edition everyone who ordered a CD will now receive a bonus A6 album art-card.
Only one more piece of the puzzle now remains and the 1st edition can start shipping end of next week albeit a week or so later than I had hoped – thanks for your patience to all those who ordered.
2nd edition is still on schedule for end of month, though they will ship in daily batches in date of order and it’s at this point I will probably regret not pricing up postage to Russia, Australia and Japan!

Like the first edition this is a hand printed, recycled gatefold card case with professionally printed and duplicated CDr plus an 8 page colour booklet. Although this version isn’t individually numbered, because of the nature of the case printing, each copy is unique.
Quantities again will be limited and there will be no third edition or repressing this year. If you would like to help secure a copy by receiving an advance notice to the exact time and date of release then please contact me through woob.info . The CD will not officially go on sale untill after this time.
Due to the same manufacturing issues as the first edition delivery is expected 3rd week in July end of July.

It took only a day to sell out so it seems my calculations were a little off…
