Woob – Remember Me – New Info, Track Preview

red-sharp

Adaption spin-off ‘Remember Me’ follow’s Jessica’s timeline through sound, here’s some back story:

After escaping the ‘Midnight Arcade’ the group make it back to their house. On checking Jessica’s room for any signs she may have returned after they were separated, a loud clicking noise coming from the corner grabs their attention.

A cassette machine in record has reached the end of side A and has failed to stop creating a rhythmical tick. By the unit an empty cassette box spine reads ‘Remember Me’ the track listing shows only a bloodstained kiss. To the left a record spins and crackles on its final groove, there is a strange symbol where the label should be, below it handwritten letters spell out: CORTEX.

You can play an excerpt from CORTEX via this hidden link.

‘Remember Me’ is an Adaption spin-off that focuses on Jessica’s Story… to be released later this Summer.

Woob – MXV Now available on iTunes, Amazon and More

I finally got around to uploading some Woob music to store’s other than Bandcamp including Spotify, Google play and others. I have had to tweak some titles for the album to get excepted which is annoying but rest assured all tracks are the same. Annoyingly there’s a titling error with the iTunes version hopefully this will be fixed at some point.

Woob – Adaption Undead Countdown

UNDEAD2

Midnight Update – Adaption is now (un)dead. Thanks to everyone who supported the album through streaming, tweeting, playing and purchasing. Also thanks to all the comments on soundcloud and reviews a lot of these knew nothing of a 24bit Hard Copy which is nice. Anyway the winners are…..

Best CommentThere’s a reason Odonna had a second crew…

Pure genius from AnakOfficial

Best ReviewI love this album in its entirety. I especially like Stay Hidden, but it could easily be any of the others. Adaption is the fave, and here’s why: I remember a wonderful weekend in 1986 with two very beautiful goth women, a fistful of party favors, and The Tear Garden’s “Tear Garden” EP. The first half of Adaption reminds me so much of the title track of that EP and that weekend that the waterworks almost started as the memories flooded back. I cannot thank you enough for this album. Favorite track: Adaption.

Heartfelt Flashback review by DJ Engine.

This one was hard to pick so an honorable mention goes to Tim Dwyer for being first to pick up on Polybuis and Tony E for a great Spooky story.

Also want to mention an awesome-ly written pro review on Sputnik Music by Jonny Hunter – such an entertaining piece in its own right well worth a read if you haven’t seen it LINK

MXV – Out this week + New Details Emerge

MXV

MXV started out as a simple compilation for those who missed the ‘Time Limited’ bonus tracks originally included with Intervision 1015 but it has evolved and now includes a bunch of new stuff and even some of those aforementioned tracks have been remastered.

Taking center stage of the new material is the Dead Already Mix of the soon to be undead Stay Hidden from Adaption. A remix that includes the vocal talents of the AI High Priestess – Coin-op of Death! which should segue nicely into the new album Death by Coin-op out later this year. [Read more…]
