OH MY! Want all of these
Wow! I only have the Planet Woob one.
I’d love to add all of these to the archives here… :-)
Hey even I would have trouble laying my hands on some of these:)
Archive album? Didn’t even know there were more cassettes from that time. This should be pretty great.
It’s strange they never came to light
When I look these tapes I see all the artistic way which you traveled since.
This return to the source is like a ” Madeleine de Proust. ”
The future looks radiant…
top row
Planet Woob (93) / Ambient Hour (93/94) / Void (93)
bottom row
House of Woob (93) / On Earth (94) / 3001 (93/94)
WOW, tapes I never new existed – and possibly contain a lot of tracks us fans have been waiting for
Hopefully, they include…
On Earth (Full mix)
Void Part 1 (Un-edited)
3001 (Full Mix)
and a few more surprises :)
The future looks bright
According to Woob update No.4 (paper edition) Circa 93/94 it’s the On Earth ‘original mix’ !
Void (part II – my love ;)), On Earth, I realy like the cover this MC has. I don’t recognise if it is a photography but it remainds me Have Landed cover art. The technic of placing backgrounds is kind of similar. Like it :).
The Artwork was designed by a listener called SPEN. I really like it I couldn’t believe how similar that mountain looks when I saw it for the first time in a long time
Soo… vinyl? CD? Cassette? Digital?
Never heard of 3001 or any of those other tapes,.. full of surprises :)
Actually there’s a Woob one missing it was a compilation, I am not sure if it was even fully released but it’s mentioned in the original Woob Update 4 as coming soon – I have one here… minus the tape!!
All looks good, always nice to see the past and see what you’ve been missing, especially when you thought your collection was pretty complete ;)
So Paul, if you had a time machine and you could only make one trip to the past, which Woob release would you be rescuing?
2213 sounds like it’s going to plug some gaps in the most wanted section…
Track rescue would be – Void Pt.1
Also 4495 is now Repurpose
Void Pt.1 – Still one of my all time favourite tunes!
Hmmm… All very cryptic
Looking forward to Friday, when all will (hopefully) be revealed…
Cool… So maybe no one on earth has the complete cassette series! Just the audio from these on some cool artifact would do me though :)
I read somewhere that it was the Planet Woob demo cassette arriving at the em:t offices that sparked the release of 1194?
